One of our favorite weddings from last year - we got some amazing photos at this wedding and also made some amazing friends! Mackenzie and Dan did such a great job putting their wedding together at Gerry Ranch - perfect rustic wedding they were looking for!
It's another TBT! Here is Matt and Danielle's engagement session in Santa Barbara from December 2012, believe it or not. We spend the day in some of Matt and Danielle's favorite spots in Santa Barbara. Starting at the Funk Zone downtown, then to Alameda Park and ended at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. You might have seen some of these when we posted the teaser photos the day of the shoot. I love that Danielle wanted to have their dog Harlo involved in their session. It was an awesome idea and we had so much fun involving their "baby". Harlo was such a stud and Matt and Danielle are obviously a beautiful couple and made our job easy! Thanks to Harlo, the photo that says, "my humans are getting married" went viral and even published! :) This session was such a great precursor to what would be one of our favorite weddings from 2013, which we will share soon!
Kent and Janine were married in an amazing little church just steps from the beach in Santa Barbara called All Saints-by-the-Sea. From the very first dinner we had together - cooked by Kent himself and absolutely delicious - we got along great and we're able to hear all about their vision for their day. These two put a lot of hard work into their wedding day and it was amazing to see it all come together. Kent prepared ALL the food for the reception - awesome, but also crazy. :) And Janine spent hours upon hours making hundreds of paper flowers for their table decor. These were just a few things they worked so hard on, but the best part about their day was to see them completely in awe of each other. Their reception held at the Rockwood Santa Barbara women's club was the perfect setting for their party.
We have a lot of weddings to catch up on! But just had to post this one sooner then later. Erica and Eric and a beautiful wedding on the beach in Santa Monica, CA right next to the famous pier. They couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day or setting. With their ceremony right in front of Shutters on the Beach and reception inside - it made for the perfect surroundings. We couldn't be more happy with the quality of photos we were able to capture that day! It of course helps that the couple is madly in love and looked amazing! A big congrats to you both!
