When you are both in the Air Force and the groom flies a bomber... your wedding better have something to do with planes! Love this couple and the venue they chose!
Melissa and Adam tied the knot yesterday at Gerry Ranch with a day full of sun, laughter and of course dancing!
Danny and Courtney made it official yesterday in Santa Barbara! So much fun with these two and their friends and family! There are their photos from their day of slideshow that we showed at the reception!
Erin and Danilo just got married on June 27th in Paso Robles - it was a day full of rolling hills, sun, a dash of rain and even a double rainbow! :)
Yesterday (6/20/15) Courtney and I had the great pleasure of capturing Nia and Larry's wedding at Serendipity Gardens in Oak Glen, CA. These two are so perfect for each other...
One of our favorite weddings from last year - we got some amazing photos at this wedding and also made some amazing friends! Mackenzie and Dan did such a great job putting their wedding together at Gerry Ranch - perfect rustic wedding they were looking for!
Cute, intimate backyard wedding from last year near LA. Raya and Mike went above and beyond for their closest friends and family.
Here is Brittany and Ben's reception slideshow from their wedding yesterday. Beautiful sunny day in Goleta, CA where we got to see these two profess their love amongst their many friends and family!
A throw back to last May when we photographed Mackenzie and Dan’s engagement session at Gerry Ranch.
First wedding for 2015 and it was amazing! Great location, people and couple! Here are the reception slide show photos. (minus the send off :)
A full blog with photos, video and even a write up from the bride! :) This was a fav from 2014!
It was nothing but a day full of love yesterday for Julie and Nick! These two have great chemistry - made the day amazing. They picked a great spot, perched on the top of Elings park in Santa Barbara with the sun setting over the ocean - you couldn't have asked for better weather. Congrats to you both Julie and Nick! Here are your teasers from yesterday!
To say its been a busy three weeks would be an understatement and to say the last three weeks has been an blast would also be an understatement. Three weeks ago we were shooting on the beaches of Santa Barbara, CA and last week we were shooting in the urban setting in Chicago, IL and yesterday we were shooting in woods among the Fall leaves and good friends in Rockford, IL. Trying to keep this brief - Mark and Emily casted their idea to us last winter about hosting their wedding in Emily's mothers backyard. Mark talked about building some wood benches and other things. Well when we arrived to scout last week we walked into a full blown outdoor chapel, and of course a sweet wood bar for the reception. :) Mark & Emily and their team of friends and family pulled of an amazing DIY wedding - all the way to Emily making all the cakes for everybody. We loved getting to see old friends, meet some new ones and share the day with you two! Congrats again!
A week ago we were shooting in the extreme heat of Santa Barbara - yesterday we were happy to welcome the refreshing cool crisp Fall weather of Chicago. I'll say it again, we always LOVE coming to this city and are so thankful for couples that brings back out here! Thanks so much Jess and Paul for an amazing day!! And letting us be apart of your day!! Here is their slideshow we showed at their reception.. enjoy!
Nothing like beating the heat by doing an awesome engagement session by the water in Santa Barbara! Here a few teasers from Courtney and Aaron's engagement session this past Sunday. Can't wait to share the rest!

Nothing like a little hike and mini-engagement session in Santa Barbara! Aside from the 90 degree heat, the Sun and settings were beautiful. We got some great sun kissed photos among the rubble of Knapp's Castle. Easy to say we can not wait to hang with these two next summer!
Such a blast this past Saturday with Christina and Roberto! A little hotter then usual in Santa Barbara, but it worked out great with an indoor ceremony at the Presidio State Historic Park and right when it cooled off we went outside to the Casa de la Guerra. I have to say they had a strong dancing presence the whole reception! So much fun! Here is their day of slideshow from Saturday!
A throw back to last year :) when Christine and Vince got married on 7/6/2013. We first met Christine and Vince and their dog at Pelermo Coffee on Main Street in Ventura. It was a great first meeting and we got a lot of things figured out - but I remember it seeming like their wedding would be pretty low key. Much to our surprise when we show up to capture their day - it was nothing but. Christine and Vince did a great job picking their them, decor and of course vendors. :) From the sweet getting ready atmosphere down to the harlem shake attacks at the reception - it was an awesome day to be apart of. This was our first time shooting at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum - which is a great setting to have your one spot wedding and reception. And the day went off with out a hitch thanks to Cassidy Rae Events. And a big thanks to Peter Kappen for second shooting, as Courtney was taking care of our 2 week old at this time. Crazy how time flies!
We love showing photos from the day at the reception! Its instant gratification at its finest! :) Its also a great way for people to see what the day looked like for you.
It's another TBT! Here is Matt and Danielle's engagement session in Santa Barbara from December 2012, believe it or not. We spend the day in some of Matt and Danielle's favorite spots in Santa Barbara. Starting at the Funk Zone downtown, then to Alameda Park and ended at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. You might have seen some of these when we posted the teaser photos the day of the shoot. I love that Danielle wanted to have their dog Harlo involved in their session. It was an awesome idea and we had so much fun involving their "baby". Harlo was such a stud and Matt and Danielle are obviously a beautiful couple and made our job easy! Thanks to Harlo, the photo that says, "my humans are getting married" went viral and even published! :) This session was such a great precursor to what would be one of our favorite weddings from 2013, which we will share soon!
